David Grainger is a Consulting IT Architect with over 15 years of experience in design and development of large-scale distributed and enterprise systems. Joining IBM as a graduate, he worked for 10 years in IT specialist and software engineering roles, primarily in the UK and Europe.
David was recognised by his customers and peers as a technical leader for IBM in e-business systems design and applications integration. His approach is very firmly focussed on achieving results and providing an environment where staff can and do excel. In 2002 David took responsibility for application compatibility standards for IBM Software Group, driving significant improvements in interface design and packaging across IBM’s major middleware products. Since moving to New Zealand in 2004, he has broadened his focus into general solution and enterprise architecture consultancy at Resultex, Ministry of Health and SolNet Solutions.
