CASE STUDY: WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL - DISASTER RECOVERY
Resultex undertook a project to investigate the options for establishing Disaster Recovery for the Wellington City Council against the Council's defined business requirements. In addition, the project covered evaluation of current infrastructure management practices and investigated potential savings. The project required a sensitive approach due to the potential impact on HR.
Resultex managed the project using a strong partnership model and in addition provided specialist expertise in the area of Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery.

Resultex delivered the project following a structured approach that culminated in a report detailing preferred and alternate options. The report was completed on time, all recommendations were accepted and Resultex subsequently oversaw the solution implemented.
The WCC now has a functioning IT disaster recovery capability and the ability to continue business without extensive disruption.
