Westpac Banking Corporation
Resultex has provided both IT and business services to Westpac since 1995, these have included:
- Review of IT Problem and Change Management procedures.
- Establishment of Service Level Agreements between IT and their business unit customers.
- Executive Leasing to fill Technical Services management position during critical periods of change, including the Wespac/Trustbank merger and Y2K.
- Project Directorship of Westpac's Infrastructure Programme including: consolidation and relocation of the Data Centres; implementation of infrastructure to reduce operational costs and improve Disaster Recovery capability; procurement management for infrastructure; contractual and service level negotiations for fibre optic services.
- Rationalisation of the software and hardware procurement and vendor contract management processes.
- Programme and Change Management for the Business Banking Restructure. This included liaising with all stakeholders and overseeing all logistical and people changes.
- Project Management of various business and IT initiatives including a statistical engine development for accurate intraday staff FTE forecasts for all Westpac NZ retail branches.
- Project Management Services for the Call Centre Upgrade and voice/email and mobile integration.
- Architecture QA and review of the Westpac Assist project. This involved an extensive review of the programme with detailed reporting and recommendations, which were accepted.
